Cairo, June 6, 2026 – Flyon Aero Aviation Training Center, at the invitation of Confindustria, participated in the first edition of the TechSkills Forum – Forum on Technical and Vocational Education in Mediterranean Countries, held in Cairo on June 5 and 6
The international event, inaugurated by Italian Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara and Egyptian Minister of Education Mohamed Abdel Latif, was attended by delegations from 16 countries, Confindustria leadership, and 50 companies from various European and North African nations.
The two-day forum focused on key issues for the region’s future: the development of technical and technological education, strengthening partnerships between the education system and the industrial sector, supporting innovation, enhancing digital skills, and exploring the role of artificial intelligence and modern technologies in redefining the future of work.
The strategic goal is to create an educational bridge capable of connecting Europe and North Africa by leveraging local talent and promoting the international mobility of a future skilled workforce that can meet the needs of increasingly sophisticated and competitive markets.
In this cutting-edge context, Flyon Aero—a leading provider of training for aircraft maintenance technicians both in Italy and abroad—serves as a concrete example of the synergies that can be established between the educational and professional worlds with the support of industry institutions and those responsible for internationalization
Flyon Aero participated in the event alongside its Egyptian partner SAVIS – Safety Aviation Agency, thereby consolidating the collaborative effort initiated through agreements signed in Cairo in June 2025 at the Ministry of Civil Aviation in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Aviation and the Italian Ambassador for the on-site development of aviation technical training in accordance with European standards.
